What can be better than a weekend in Paris? Whether you are adding Paris to another destination in France, stopping there on your way to another European destination, or hopping over for a quick getaway, we believe we have the best food tours in Paris and the best Paris wine tasting tour to make your culinary dreams come alive.

Paris is one of the world’s most popular destinations. Originally a medieval city, Paris was the subject of a sweeping modern urbanization in the Nineteenth Century under the direction of the Baron Haussmann. This restructuring resulted in the large, airy boulevards that you can stroll and shop along, including the famed Champs-Élysées. History has not always smiled favorably on Haussmann’s work, as it resulted in the demolition of a lot of the old city and its winding, narrow streets. But the results can be enjoyed nonetheless as you stroll along the boulevards on your Paris gourmet food tour!

Your Paris gourmet food tour can be customized, but the standard tour includes 2 nights accommodations in a charming boutique hotel, a wine and cheese tour in Paris, and a foodie walking tour. The Paris gourmet walking tour will take place in the vibrant Latin quarter and will include a walk rich in flavors and history. You can taste such specialities as foie gras, wine, cheese, and bread.

Of course the best wine tours in Paris must always include tastings, and yours will be accompanied by delicious French cheeses. Enjoy a private 2-hour wine and cheese tasting in Paris and learn from an expert oenologist about French wines.

Itinerary

2 Night Itinerary

Day One

Arrival in Paris for your Paris food tour with The International Kitchen and transfer on your own to your hotel.
This evening at 5:00 pm, enjoy a private 2-hour wine and cheese tasting near the Saint Germaine des Prés neighborhood, within walking distance of your hotel. Your Paris wine tour will include 3 types of wine paired with 3 different cheeses.
Dinner on your own, and overnight.

Day Two

Breakfast at the hotel.
This morning head on foot to the Latin quarter for a special Paris gourmet food tour. Your three-hour walking tour through the medieval part of Paris will include visits to high quality food shops where you can taste local products.
Afternoon on your own – perhaps cross over to the Ile Saint-Louis to see the Cathedral of Notre Dame or visit the nearby Sainte Chapelle or the Louvre Museum. Or, visit the famous Eiffel Tower (we recommend tickets be purchased in advance for either the Louvre or the Eiffel Tower).
Dinner on your own tonight and overnight.

Day Three

Breakfast at the hotel and check out. If your flight or train is in the afternoon, leave your bags with the front desk and continue to explore Paris!

Within walking distance of your gourmet food tour, your wine and cheese tasting, and many cultural sites – not to mention lots of cafes and restaurants, the hotel is in a perfect location. It has bright, comfortable rooms with desks, en suite baths, flat-screen TVs, and Wi-Fi. Upgrades are available to rooms with balconies, and triple rooms are also possible.
