Online Cooking Class with Chef Barbara in Tuscany

Maybe you aren’t ready to head to Florence at the moment, but you can still cook authentic Tuscan dishes from the comfort of your own home in this “apperitivo” online cooking class that will whet your appetite for more!

Barbara is a native Florentine, chef, and sommelier who has been offering cooking classes in Florence since 2003. Barbara, who speaks perfect English, will lead you in a 90-minute virtual cooking class via the Zoom app.

The online cooking classes can feature: pasta, pizza and focaccia, vegetarian dishes, or pastries/desserts.

The online cooking classes are Saturdays generally 12 noon Eastern Time, for a minimum of 5 people (for clients on other continents, please contact us to find a time). Or, get 4 of your friends together and you can have an online cooking class any day you like.

Upon booking the online cooking class you will be sent a list of recipe with ingredients and kitchen tools you will need for the class.

Sample cooking class menus (subject to change):

Pasta Class:
Ravioli stuffed with ricotta with butter and sage sauce
Fettuccine with meat sauce (ragù)

Pizza and Focaccia Class:
Pizza
Focaccia with onions and pancetta

Vegetarian Class:
Risotto with seasonal vegetables
Eggplant Parmigiana

Pastry/Dessert Class:
Torta della nonna (“Grandmother’s” Cake with custard)
Tiramisú

As a bonus, if you book one of our online cooking classes we’ll extend a $40 discount per attendee toward any of our cooking vacations if you travel with us in 2020 or 2021!
