About the location: Castellina in Chianti dates back to medieval times and since the 13th century has been
part of the Lega dei Chianti and has remained a very important town in the province of Siena.
Hotel Palazzo Squarcialupi is a 14th century noble residence in the heart of medieval Castellina,
recently renovated into a charming, small hotel of 17 rooms, while maintaining its original
character. All rooms have private bathrooms, A/C, mini bar and satellite TV.
In the warmer months, you can relax by the swimming pool in the spacious garden of the hotel.
If you are inclined for more activity, you can take a hike through the 17 hectares of woods
and vineyards that surround the property.
About the cooking lessons: Laura is a local cook, well-known for her wonderful meals,
and someone who enjoys sharing her love of Tuscan enogastronomy. The lesson starts in
the afternoon, cooking a full course meal together.
This is an opportunity to learn real homemade Tuscan cuisine by an expert cook!
