Florence, Tuscany

Next > < Previous

About the location: With origins dating back to Roman times, Florence acquired the status of legend as the birthplace of early Renaissance art and architecture. With its red-tiled roofs and lofty domes, it still presents a remarkable likeness to the small, late-medieval center that contributed so much to the artistic and political development of Europe. Its striking buildings, formidable galleries and treasure-crammed churches form an extraordinary repository of Renaissance art. Of course, visitors to Florence are also drawn by its top fashion houses, exquisite handicrafts and superb culinary traditions.

About the Chef: Jacopo Tendi is a Florentine Professional Chef with immeasurable passion and knowledge of Tuscan cuisine. Under his guidance you will learn some culinary skills and maybe even some of his cooking secrets! The daily teaching experience supports Jacopo’s belief that good cooking can be an easy and joyful experience that everybody can do. His hands-on classes transmit, in a casual and unpretentious atmosphere, the down-to-earth character of Italian cooking and the strong, vibrant and naturally genuine flavors of Tuscan food.
