A vacation with “Gourmet Cuisine in Francel” is all about the food. In the hands-on courses, you’ll make classic French cuisine, such as baked goat cheese soufflé, in a professional kitchen where you’ll receive personal attention from Chef Maynard.

With its moderate climate, it’s a great destination no matter what the time of year.

Located near the border of the Brittany and Normandy regions in the French countryside, Mayenne is a charming small town. The river is a popular destination as its a great place for fishing, which is why the fish is so delicious here! Visitors can also bike or walk along the river path and visit some nearby towns, such as Laval. In fact, Laval -- the capital of the Mayenne department -- is home to a 11th-century chateau, where there’s wonderful views of the town below.

This Loire Valley cooking vacation with Gourmet Cuisine in France includes daily cooking classes as well as every meal.
