One-Day Cooking Class in Rome with Market Visit
Enjoy this fascinating and delicious one-day cooking class in Rome with one of several skilled and personable chefs based in the ancient city. You will meet your chef in the morning or afternoon and begin your culinary walking tour to visit some of the chef’s favorite places to shop at a fantastic local Roman market (only during morning tours).
Next it is on to either a magnificent private apartment, restaurant, or food studio, each of which are situated in the center of Rome. The class will focus on teaching you a variety of techniques related to making pasta dishes. You’ll also make a full Italian meal, complete with a meat course (which can be substituted for vegetarians) and dessert, which you’ll then enjoy for lunch or dinner. This is not a class for the advanced cook, but rather a charming Roman experience capped with an authentic and delicious meal.
An afternoon pizza class is also available (without the market visit). Learn to prepare traditional pizza dough from scratch, including techniques on making and shaping the best dough, then top your pizza to enjoy afterwards for dinner!
