Barcelona Culinary Vacation

The famous promenade of Barcelona, explored on your culinary vacation in SpainThis trip is eligible for our Worry-Free Booking promotion.

Everyone should visit Barcelona on a Barcelona food tour. A hub of culture, food, art, and history, it is simply one of the best and most unique destinations for a cooking vacation in Spain. From a gastronomic standpoint, whether you envision a Barcelona food tour with a tapas walk through the old Gothic quarter, a Michelin-star restaurant experience, or a visit to one of the city’s fabulous food markets, you will have a first-class food experience. And don’t forget the drinks on a wine tour in Barcelona! The area has become a top wine-producing region in the past decades, but also offers amazing craft vermut, beer, sangria, and cocktails.

Barcelona is culturally fascinating, as you will discover on our 5-night and 3-night Barcelona food tours. Founded by the Romans over two thousand years ago, you can trace the history of it through the middle ages and into the modern era, represented by such amazing sites as the gothic Basilica de Santa Maria del Mar to the Guadian masterpiece La Sagrada Familia (slated for completion in 2026). As capital of the region of Catalonia, Barcelona is the cradle of Catalonian culture, including art, food, and language, all of which they are proud to share with our culinary travelers on food and wine tours in Barcelona. Barcelona is an indelibly friendly place, where the locals are used to rubbing elbows with culinary travelers there to experience all this fabulous destination has to offer.

The food in Barcelona is amazing, and you will taste a variety of it on a Barcelona culinary tour with The International Kitchen. Try your hand at making paella during a hands-on cooking class, taste the variety of olives, jamon, cheeses, and more while visiting the local market on a Barcelona food tour, or hop from restaurant to restaurant trying tapas, pintxos, montaditos, and bocaditos – all fabulous types of small dishes you can explore on our Barcelona culinary vacations.

We had a wonderful experience on our trip to Spain and Portugal. The International Kitchen customized our trip to accommodate our desire to do just a little cooking and a lot of sight seeing. We were delighted with everything from the great driver/ guides we had, lovely hotels, and great experiences with excellent tour guides and chefs. Italy is next on the list with International Kitchen.
