Rome – Lesson with Chef Stefano
Journey out of Rome’s city center for an authentic cooking class with Chef Stefano. In addition to teaching cooking classes in Rome focused on traditional and modern Italian methods, gastronomic researcher, noted author and chef Stefano Cirillo works on a television program dedicated to Italian cooking called Following Stefano. Stefano teaches this cooking class in his home, a villa on the famous Appia Antica (about 7 kilometers from the center of Rome).
The full-day experience includes a visit to the Arco di Travertino Market, a hands-on cooking session with close to 10 different dishes, and tasting of five Italian D.O.C. wines. The half-day immersion includes a visit to the Arco di Travertino Market, a hands-on cooking class with 5 traditional dishes and tasting of 3 Italian D.O.C. wines.
- Morning only class: 9:00AM-2:30PM
- Full-day class: 9:00AM-5:30PM
Stefano is also pleased to offer special vegetarian courses on request.
Please note: Stefano is a food historian and re-creates dishes that have no printed recipe. If you do not wish to take notes during the class we suggest you plan to record the class on an electronic device.
