Overview

Chef Vincenzo began his restaurant career at the tender age of 12. After working for many years in the US, his passion for his homeland and its food brought him back to Palermo where he opened his own restaurant, which is today one of the best-known and most popular restaurants in the city.

Your day will begin at 9:00 a.m. with a visit to one of Palermo’s historic and bustling markets, where you will shop for fresh, seasonal ingredients. Return to the restaurant for your hands-on cooking class. If you are lucky, Vincenzo’s mother and mentor may be on hand to assist him with the class. The lesson will focus on typical Sicilian dishes and lunch, served with delicious Sicilian wine, will follow. The class will end around 2:00 p.m.
