Beautiful Bellagio on Lake Como - NEW
Bellagio, Lake Como

Next >

About the location: Lake Como is one of Italy's most chic and illustrious destinations. Home to the real-life George Clooney and visited by the fictional James Bond ("Casino Royal"), the lake has long been a vacation spot for aristocrats and celebrities who appreciate "la dolce vita" of the gorgeous vistas, jaw-dropping villas, elaborate gardens, and amazing gastronomy. Bellagio is one of Lake Como's most famous towns and is ideally situated at the apex of the Lake's fork (Lake Como is basically an inverted "Y"), which affords it views onto all three branches of the Lake. And your trip to beautiful Bellagio does not stop there: you will also visit Lugano in nearby Switzerland and Lake Maggiore, with its own stunning vistas and villas, during your stay.

About the accommodations: your home away from home will be a beautiful hotel in the center of Bellagio, situated right on the main square and overlooking the lake and the pier. The hotel is a family-run establishment, and the Leoni family will make you feel utterly at home. The hotel also prides itself on its excellent restaurant and hospitality. Your stay includes entrance to the Bellagio Sporting Club, about 1 miles from the hotel (reachable on foot or by bus), which boasts a beautiful outdoor pool as well as tennis courts (court fees apply).

Chef Luigi About the cooking courses: just a few minutes from the city center of Bellagio is the elegant restaurant of the award-winning Chef Luigi, who worked when he was younger for many years at the prestigious Villa D'Este in Como, and who has won some 40 gold medals in international culinary competitions. Chef Luigi is passionate about the local cuisine and its ingredients and about imparting his joy for cooking to his pupils in his family-owned restaurant.
