Pisa Hills, Tuscany Cooking Vacation in Pictures

Tuscany is known as a land of green rolling hills and olive groves. In the heart of this beautiful landscape, head to the Pisa hills and stay in the elegant Pratello Country Resort during one of our newest, and most unique, culinary vacations, “Tuscany by Air & Land.”

Pratello Country Resort Al fresco dining

The resort is situated in a large wildlife park and surrounded by woodlands and olive trees. You can take in these wonderful panoramic views from a number of locations on the property, such as the outdoor terrace, where you can enjoy any of your meals, including the buffet breakfast.

In addition to the surrounding estate, Pratello’s property features classic gardens and a chiusa (church). You can also admire the views while lounging and enjoying the infinity pool and pool bar. As for the resort’s interior, there are 15 rooms that reflect an authentic, antique Tuscan style. The deluxe rooms have modern amenities, such as air conditioning and heating, as well as TV, Wi-Fi connection, safe, hair dryer, and telephone.

Tuscany helicopter ride Italy

While the accommodations here are luxurious and perfect for a relaxing getaway, that’s not the only reason this particular trip is so special. During this 4-night Tuscan vacation, you’ll be able to see the region from a whole new vantage point: in a helicopter! On day two, take a private ride and fly over the stunning countryside. You’ll see the towns of San Gimignano and Volterra from the air, a once in a lifetime experience.

Food at Pratello Cooking class kitchen

The food is yet another reason to visit. The Pisa hills are known for their game dishes, truffles, and fresh seasonal produce, which you’ll discover in two hands-on cooking classes as well as a truffle hunt. Chef Rosati would love to welcome you to his teaching kitchen to teach you the secrets of Tuscan cuisine, including homemade pasta dishes.

This 4-night program with deluxe room accommodations starts at $2300 per person. For more details, see “Tuscany by Air & Land” on our Website or contact us.
