Mansions and Millionaires to Film on Amalfi Coast

Mansions and Millionaires is once again pairing with The International Kitchen! We’re excited to announce the Michael Corbett of NBC Extra’s Mansions and Millionaires and his crew will be cooking with us again for a special “Italy Edition” of the popular show. Last time Tuscany was their destination, and this time it’s our best-selling cooking vacation on the Amalfi Coast!

Michael Corbett

This July the crew will film for 4 days at the beautiful Oasi Olimpia, home to our Mediterranean Cooking Experience. One of our longest-running and most successful cooking vacations, it is also a personal favorite of everyone at The International Kitchen. The villa lies about 6 miles north of Sorrento, in the hills of the Sorrentine Peninsula and looking out over the Gulf of Naples and the Gulf of Salerno. Originally a vacation villa for a rich German aristocrat, it was renovated into a splendid boutique hotel of eleven rooms and suites.

Salvatore and culinary travelers

Today the “padrone di casa” (host) is Salvatore, who was actually born in one of the upstairs bedrooms! Engineer, race-car driver, food and wine aficionado, and local legend, Salvatore is the perfect host for this incredible experience. He will introduce you to the joys of southern Italian living and the rich cuisine of this sunny region.

The cooking classes are led by the young and enthusiastic Chef Fabrizio, whose mother was a famed (now retired) chef. He will teach Michael and the crew local Italian dishes, full of fresh, ripe vegetables, locally fished seafood, and olive oil. The classes are held in the spacious teaching kitchen of the Relais.

Mansions and Millionaires
Last year Mansions and Millionaires filmed at our incredible Cook under the Tuscan Sun cooking vacation at the gorgeous family-run estate Il Falconiere. We know that this year’s trip will be just as spectacular and can’t wait to see the results!
