Deruta – Lesson with Chef Tiziana and Zola

Join us in an early 19th-century private villa located near Deruta in the heart of Umbria, and step back in time and into a slice of real Italian life! Your cooking class in Umbria will be taught in English by Chefs Tiziana (who is also a professional sommelier) and Zoila. The course will cover a complete menu: antipasti, 2 primi piatti (pasta, soup or risotto), 1 secondo (meat or fish), and dessert. You will use the fresh produce you pick with the chefs from the villa’s herb and vegetable garden.

Please inquire if you are interested in an olive oil tasting, wine tasting, olive harvest (November only), or a visit to one of Deruta’s famous pottery factories. 

  • Morning class: 10:00AM-2:00PM, followed by lunch based on your efforts (served with fine local wine paired with the dishes).
  • It is possible to add on a market visit at 9:00AM on Tuesday mornings (please inquire for cost).

Class Dates

Available Monday through Friday for a minimum of 2 people.
