Itinerary
Day 1
- Arrive in Catania and transfer on your own to Hotel in Siracusa.
- Dinner on own, with recommendations.
- Overnight.
Day 2
- Half day to explore Siracusa, including a guided walking tour of Ortigia and the Archeological park.
- Lunch included.
- Free time in the afternoon.
- Dinner on own.
- Overnight
Day 3
- Full day to Catania. First visit the amazing fish market in Catania, an authentic slice of island life.
- Next, Mount Etna with lunch and a tasting at a top rated winery.
- Dinner on own.
- Overnight.
Day 4
- Full day to Nicosia and Leonforte to explore your roots.
- Dinner on own.
- Overnight.
Day 5
- Full day excursion. Visit the baroque towns of Modica and Ragusa, considered “open air” museums. Enjoy a chocolate tasting and visit of a farm for olive oil and wine tasting .
- Return to Siracusa. Dinner on own.
- Overnight.
Day 6
- Full day excursion. First, visit Taormina, a picturesque place that has inspired artists, writers, and tourists. Enjoy breathtaking views of the sea, Greek colonial ruins, and the snow-capped Mount Etna.
- Next, visit Savoca and a special “Godfather” tour. The village of Savoca was the main Sicilian location for the Godfather movie. You will see Bar Vitelli, where Michael (Al Pacino) lived in Sicily, as well as the amazing 17th-century Villa “deli Schivai,” otherwise known as the Corleone house.
- Dinner on own. Overnight.
Day 7
- Breakfast. Transfer on your own to Catania airport.
