The Provencal culinary tour included an interesting variety of experiences. It was well planned. The drivers and guide were on time, fun and knowledgeable. We went from markets, to restaurants, mountains to the sea town of Cassis. The cooking classes too were fun and informative, each one very different. One class in an old French house with an artist and chef, another in the market of Avignon and the third with two jolly sisters and large amounts of foie gras and truffles. The picnic in the lavender field was lovely and the house in Massane was comfortable, with a nice pool, important on hot summer days and good air conditioning. The host was friendly and helpful. More bath towels and toilet paper would have been nice. The breakfasts were lovely with croissants and breads and fresh fruits and home made jam. It was a wonderful trip! Linda G., Canada

Trip Details

Your 3 cooking classes will be led by popular local chef Yvan, as well as by Chef John, who will lead a cooking class in Avignon, and private chefs Anne Chalier and Veronique Boiron. The hands-on classes will be held in the villa’s fully equipped kitchen and in Avignon, and will feature the best of Provencal cuisine, from the freshest seasonal produce, to its seafood, foie gras, and truffles.
