L'Ecole Buissonnière
Nestled between the medieval towns of Buisson and Villedieu lies the charming L'Ecole Buissonnière, a former working farmstead turned country inn. The estate is vast, but the inn has just 5 lovely and unique en-suite bedrooms, either double or twin (2 beds), giving one the feeling of staying with friends in the Provencal countryside. The inn is filled with antiques and Provencal art, and there are many common areas, both indoors (a dining room, sitting room with fireplace, TV room) as well as in the extensive gardens, where one finds an outdoor dining terrace, outdoor kitchen, covered barbecue area, pool, boule court, and sunny courtyard. This last, where breakfast is usually served, has an aviary with singing canaries and a fountain filled with water lilies and fish. There is a telephone and a TV room available for guest use, but not in the bedrooms. Hair dryers and a safe for documents are also available, as is WiFi. The bedrooms are not air-conditioned, but with the exception of the high summer period (mostly July), it is not needed.
