One-Day Cooking Classes for Solo Travelers

Many of our cooking classes and vacations require a minimum of two people to run, due to operation costs, but lucky for all you solo travelers, we also offer some great classes that only require a minimum of one person!

Italy cookery courses

Rome class and tourIf you’re visiting the capital of Italy, Rome, try our cooking class in Rome! After visiting some of the chef’s favorite shops, stop in the local Roman market (during morning tours only), and then start cooking in one of a few stunning locations in the heart of the city.

You can also step outside the city of Rome for a wonderful country experience. Head to the ancient village of Mazzano Romano, where you can enjoy an experience outside the city.

If you’re near Lake Como, consider a course with Chef Gandola, a popular local chef, in his Bellagio restaurant. He’ll not only teach you how to make homemade pasta but also risotto and tiramisu, for example.

Finally, on the Amalfi Coast check out our wonderful cooking class and wine tasting with chef Peter in Positano. You will have one of the most amazing meals of your life, and will truly feel At Home in Positano.

Paris cooking classes

Market visit in ParisOver in France, the city of light has a variety of classes that can often be confirmed for one person. Chef Dominique and Chef Frederic are professional chefs who will welcome you to their apartment kitchen after visiting the local market near Père Lachaise cemetery. Chef Marthe, a home cook, would also love to have you into her home for a class and lunch.

Last but not least, Chef Eric’s atelier hosts a number of different options. Visit a market and learn to cook classic French dishes. Or learn about baking or bread, or perhaps even desserts!
