Welcome to TIK’s New Look!

We have been working for over a year on our new website and we could not be more thrilled with how it turned out. For years people have been telling us that 1) our old website did not accurately represent how awesome our trips are, 2) that it was hard to search and book online, and 3) that we need more pictures! We think the results take care of all of this and more.

Why a new logo? When Richard and I took over as owners in 2015 we knew it was time to refresh our look, our brand, and our website. We expanded our offerings into new destinations – including the US – started offering more customized itineraries, reached out more to our Travel Agent partners, and updated some of our out-of-date booking policies. Those positive steps led us here.

The new website doesn’t just look good – we find it much more navigable. It’s true, if you were used to the old one (as was I!) it takes a moment to get used to, but there are so many more options! Search by keyword of course, but search by trip length, price, destination (or any combination of the three). Search by trip categories, such as “Luxury Line,” Family Friendly,” Hidden Gems,” “Good for Solos,” or even “Good for Winos.”

We’re still working out a few kinks, but overall we’re so happy with the response we’ve gotten from both old and new customers. We even have a chat feature, which makes it easy to ask a quick questions and get a quick answer.

So what’s next? Once the final kinks are all worked out, we’ll return to things that have gotten pushes to the side. Things like the Blog, new program development, and more social opportunities for our travelers. We’re also planning a launch party. If you live in the Chicago area, let us know and we’ll put you on the invitation list!
