Trips for Two: Romantic Destinations

Looking for a last-minute Valentine's Gift? In addition to our many wonderful culinary tours for friends and families traveling together, as well as for solos, we offer cooking vacation destinations that just scream romantic getaway.

What are some of our favorites culinary vacations for travelers looking to celebrate a honeymoon, an anniversary, or just a romantic week together? Here are a few of our favorites:

Cooking Class in Paris 1) Mexico
Let's face it. Right now it's cold in Chicago. The thought of spending a week in the warmth of Mexico, learning to make authentic Mexican cuisine, drinking margaritas, and exploring the beauty of our southern neighbor sounds like the perfect couples getaway. Especially if you are looking for a last-minute winter escape!

2) Paris
There is a reason so many honeymooners go to Paris. It's got the perfect combination of gastronomy, art, and culture. What could be more romantic than walking along the Seine, or stopping for a coffee on the Ile St. Louis, or seeing the stained glass of the St. Chapelle? We offer amazing custom cooking trips in Paris that can be as basic or as elaborate as you and your special someone want.

3) PugliaWedding in Puglia
What? Yes, Puglia! OK, this one I got from our Tour Coordinator Adrian, who got married in Puglia (also called Apulia) last year, so he may be particularly biased. But it's true, this is an amazingly romantic place to explore sun-washed villages, sweeping coastline, and stunning landscapes. And the food and wine can't be beat. More off the beaten track than many Italian destinations, it also features very competitive pricing and a less touristy vibe than many other regions.

Honorable mention? How about the Amalfi Coast, with its gorgeous sea-side towns, beautiful weather, and amazing views? We're offering a special at our best selling Amalfi Coast itinerary, 30% off our 6-night itinerary for April 2017! Please contact us for details.
