Wow, we have been surprised about the number of people wanting to book (relatively) last-minute tours to Europe for this October! We’ve even been finding some great airfare rates for them as well (did you know we can assist you with airfare)? October is a great time to visit some of our top selling cooking vacations in Italy, France, Spain, and Portugal. We thought we’d make it easier for you and highlight some of the culinary vacations and foodie tours we’ve got running!

Cooking vacation in Puglia A Culinary Adventure in Puglia – October 10-16
This is one of our favorite itineraries, and is in one of our favorite regions. It bears repeating: our Director of Business Development likes Puglia so much he got married there last year. It is a wonderful region, still super-authentic (although it is getting discovered by more and more celebrities each year, so visit it while it can still be considered an “off the beaten track” destination).

Antinori’s Noble Tuscany – October 22-28
This one takes place at an old Tuscan “borgo” resort – a former country estate turned into hotel by the famed Antinori wine-makers, one of Italy’s most known families. You not only visit their 2 amazing wineries, you cook with acclaimed Michelin-star chef Matia Barciulli. Absolutely stellar experience.

Cooking vacation in Provence, France Cuisine and Culture of Provence – October 14-20
Provence needs no introduction, and this itinerary features everything you can want from a visit to the south of France, including cooking classes, amazing food, and visits to Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, the Luberon Vallely, Marseille, the Cote du Rhone, Avignon, Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Nyons, Suze-la_Rousse… wow! Your guide and escort will make sure it is an authentic and in-depth introduction to Provence that you will remember forever.

Cooking in Andalusian Olive Country – October 23-28
Our best selling itinerary in Spain has 2 spots left for the week of Oct. 23. There are a lot of reasons to love this itinerary, including the gorgeous rural vista (olive groves as far as you can see), visits to the Alhambra and other cultural sites of interest, the charming finca (farmhouse) accommodations. But our favorite part of this trip is the cooking classes, in which you explore the complex and rich flavors of Spanish cuisine.

Cook in the Heart of Chianti – October 8-14
The Chianti region is full of wonderful food and of course wine, which makes it an ideal destination for a cooking vacation. This one is at a beautiful hotel near the town of Tavarnelle val di Pesa, and is run by a wonderful young staff. One of our favorite options in Tuscany.

Cooking vacation in Spain Basque Cuisine in Bilbao – September 29 – October 2
And to give you a shorter option, we simply have to mention this one in the north of Spain. It is chock full of amazing things to discover, from the art and architecture of Bilbao to the “pinxtos” seen (tapas).

Cooking Under the Tuscan Sun – October 19-22 or 22-27
One of our Tuscany best-sellers, this one features a stay at a family-owned estate. Stay in the charming relais, cook with the family matriarch, visit the family winery… and even eat at their bistro in Cortona! It’s a family affair, full of charm and amazing Tuscan food.

This is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to what we can offer in October. Don’t see what you want? Contact us for more options!
