When one thinks of wine production in the U.S., it’s often Napa Valley that comes to mind. While the wine alone makes this California destination worthy of being home to one of our culinary tours, the gorgeous region has a lot to offer in other ways too: scenic landscapes, charming towns, and, you guessed it, the gastronomy too. Those are just some of the reasons we’re thrilled to offer our next USA cooking vacation destination in Napa Valley!
This new trip is made even more special by who will be your guide in this lovely part of the country: Diane de Filipi. A fabulous Napa Valley insider — as well as a chef, travel and food writer, olive oil educator and more — she’s able to provide guests with a truly unique experience. For starters, two activities included in the 4-night package are private classes with Diane to learn more about olive oil, as well as balsamic vinegar. (When Diane isn’t in Napa Valley, she can often be found leading our Elegant Burgundy cooking vacation in France).
Pair those classes with cooking classes as well as private wine tastings, and you’re in for a real treat. Of course, if you’d like to add more wine to the experience, we can do that too, as this trip — as is all of our trips — is customizable.
In regards to accommodations, those may vary depending on the dates booked; but Napa Valley is an area known for its hospitality, so whether you’re staying at a B&B, private home, country inn, or cottage, you’ll feel right at home.
