About the location: We have found the perfect place in Southern Tuscany to learn more about Tuscan wines!
Journey to a charming, upscale agriturismo wine estate, perched on a picturesque hilltop with gorgeous
views of rolling green valleys dotted with cypress trees and vineyards. The agriturismo is perfectly
located between the two very famous Tuscan villages of Montepulciano and Pienza.
Together with a resident wine expert and sommelier you will learn more about wine in the Tuscan manner.
This boutique estate produces about 15,000 bottles a year of Chianti Colli Senesi DOCG, Orcia DOC, and
Table Wine IGT with sangiovese grapes (Super Tuscan).
The following itineraries have been designed keeping in mind the freedom that a car gives.
Reservations have been made for you at wineries and farms and you are free to come and go
to these places as you see fit: perhaps staying in the area afterwards for a light lunch or
dinner, or else leaving early in the morning to explore more of a particular area on your own.
The Terre di Nano Getaway Wine Itineraries are perfect for those who do not have a lot of
time available but would still like a mini escape to the Tuscan countryside to learn
more about this red elixir of life. It is a perfect addition to a longer Italian sojourn.
Some of the most delightful things about Tuscany are found unexpectedly - driving down a deserted
dirt road at sunset, picking grapes off a countryside vineyard, standing in the middle of a
sunflower field, sitting in a cafe in a country village square, smelling the scottish broom
and jasmine in bloom. By having an itinerary which leaves time for individual explorations
we believe you will be able to enjoy the unexpected delights of this charmed land even more.
If you'd like to add a wonderful Tuscan cooking class to your wine getaway, please let us know!
