About the location: Paris is what dreams are made of — the birthplace of romance and the center of culinary delights. Not only is Paris the home to some of the most breathtaking architecture, monuments and art the world has ever seen, but this ‘city of light’ (la ville-lumière), will instantly immerse visitors in its unique and vibrant culture. Your home for three nights is an elegant and deluxe four-star hotel located in the most chic district of Paris, near the Champs-Élysées, the Arc de Triomphe and Trocad&eactue;ro. The hotel was formerly a private residence and was transformed into a luxury hotel during the 1920s, maintaining a distinctive Parisian feel.

About the cooking lessons: You will be treated to a two-hour hands on cooking lesson with the prestigious head chef of the hotel's fine restaurant, which has recently been awarded a Michelin star. You will go through the prepartion of a complete meal, followed by a wine tasting with the famed sommelier of the hotel.

Itinerary

Day One

  • Arrival on your own and check in to the your lovely room.
  • Time at leisure to explore the city.
  • Tonight's dinner on your own, with recommendations from the hotel.
  • Overnight.

Day Two

  • Breakfast followed by day at leisure with lunch on your own.
  • In the late afternoon (approximately 4:00 PM) meet with the chef for your two-hour cooking class.
  • At around 6:00 PM you will begin your one-hour wine tasting with a master sommelier.
  • Dinner tonight will be a tasting at the hotel restaurant, complete with a bottle of champagne!
  • Overnight.

Day Three

  • Breakfast and day at leisure.
  • If you like, for dinner we can arrange a fantastic gourmet dinner in a private home — a very personal experience.
  • Overnight.

Day Four

  • Breakfast followed by check-out.
