Cooking Vacations Overview
Our six day cooking course with Claudio far exceeded our expectations. It did not feel like a "group tour" at all — it was very personal... Every aspect of this vacation was thoroughly planned from the transportation to the meals, the fabulous Villa Casagrande — everything. There were no unexpected charges or fees. Everything scheduled was perfectly on time... everyone was gracious, friendly, helpful. I felt like we experienced the real Tuscany — not a "tourist version" of it.

How would you like to spend a week in the Tuscan countryside, learning to cook the Tuscan way from a warm and enthusiastic Italian chef?
How about spending a few days at a provencal B&B, visiting the local produce markets and bakeries, enjoying your meals al fresco
with a glass of excellent French wine? Or perhaps you would prefer a trip to sunny Spain, where you can immerse yourself in the local
cuisine and way of life?
At The International Kitchen we strive to provide the best possible culinary vacation for our clients,
and to that end we visit all of the programs we design: we meet the chefs, walk the paths, and sample the
foods that will make up your unique and unforgettable cooking vacation. Our culinary tours generally include
accommodations, cooking lessons in English, and excursions that explore the local culture (the ruins of Pompeii
for example, or Barcelona’s striking architecture) and cuisine (such as a visit to a cheese producer, a
winery, or an oil press). And of course, the food! You will enjoy some of the world's best and most distinctive
regional foods and wines on our tours. Our cooking vacations in general run 2 to 7 nights, and can usually be
confirmed for as few as two people. The maximum class size depends on the size of the kitchen where your lessons
are held, but never exceed 14 in order to ensure a high-quality, hands-on experience.
We want to give you as much information as possible to help you decide which cooking vacation is right for you.
For each of our cooking tours, you will find a full and detailed description of the accommodations, the cooking
classes, the day-to-day itinerary, and what is included. Our prices and available dates are online, as are client
comments from past travelers who have taken our cooking vacations. If you are ready to book, our
booking
form is available online. If you still need help deciding between a luxurious
boutique hotel on Italy’s sunny Amalfi coast, or a converted farmhouse nestled
in the Tuscan countryside, just give us a call. We’d love to talk to you about any of our programs.
