Tuscan Dream on a Chianti Wine Estate - NEW
Castellina in Chianti, Tuscany

Next > < Previous

About the Wine Estate: The Quercia di Castellina Commercial Farm extends over the communes of Castellina and Radda in Chianti and covers a surface of 47 hectares, 11 of which are cultivated as a vineyard and 3 dedicated to olives.

The “locality called Querceto”—which dates back to before the XVI century—and the main farmhouse has maintained every trace of its history and evolution over the centuries. This not only makes it extremely original but also of considerable historical and architectural interest.
The apartments, newly renovated, are comfortable and functional but maintain the charm and colors of the past. Inside, they maintain their authenticity, thanks to the typical furnishing, cotto floors and wooden beam ceilings. Each unit has a fully equipped masonry kitchen and telephone service.

At Querceto you can spend a peaceful and relaxing holiday completely immersed in nature,.

About the cooking lessons: Laura is a fine home cook who has been passing on her recipes and cooking techniques for years. She will teach you the secrets of typical Tuscan dishes: you will learn how to make chicken liver crisp breads, ribollita, pasta and beans, stuffed wild boar, chicken cacciatore and many other dishes. The courses are held in the morning from 9:30 am or in the afternoon from 4 pm and last around three and a half hours. The course will finish with a lunch or dinner based on your culinary efforts.
