Lazio Cooking Vacations
Journey to the ancient region of Lazio with The International Kitchen. Lazio is primarily known for it’s ancient and historic capital of Rome. But the region, unfrequented by mass tourism, is home to a microclimate that produces some of the country’s best fruits, vegetables, and olives, allowing culinary specialties to flourish; dotted with lakes, there is also an abundance of seafood. Lazio is a very diverse region, offering sandy beaches on the stunning coast of the Tyrrhenian sea, volcanic mountainous regions and its main city, Rome, the origin of western culture. Our cooking classes will afford you the opportunity to take full advantage of the region’s bountiful harvests and ancient culinary traditions.

Vacations in Lazio (Rome)
Visit a small historical town in the region of Lazio, and stay in a villa that belonged to the nobility of the town and was completely renovated and restored in 2010. At the villa you will find preserved coffiered wooden ceilings, antique wooden beams, and some original terracotta tile flooring. The interior décor reflects an ancient aesthetic while providing visitors with modern day conveniences such as private jacuzzi baths with tempmatic showers. This rustic, uncharted territory is rich in tradition and best known for its simple, savory and hearty Italian dishes.
