From the moment I met the owners at the Chiusi train station, they were welcoming. And once I got to their agriturismo, I felt like I was visiting their lovely country home! My room was very comfortable with plenty of room to relax. The dining room, too, was warm and inviting — perhaps helped in part by the fireplace! — and I absolutely enjoyed the dishes Gianluca prepared. I could tell that the ravioli was homemade, and Marina told me all about where all of the food came from, such as the local butcher just over the hill. I even got to taste some of the meat from the famous white cow in the region – superb! Of course, I can’t not mention the views.They were breathtaking, from inside my room and out. Their property overlooks a valley, and from where the agriturismo is situated, you can see for miles!

It was a fantastic week for me! I cook a lot at home, but what I learned from Gianluca during this week was really amazing!
Tips and tricks, delicious dishes, honest cooking and natural products. For people who like to cook with the best products from Italy, it is really something I can recommend! Don’t expect dishes you are used to eat in your hometown while visiting an Italian restaurant…..  this is waaaay better than that (even if you think that in your hometown…...there is the best italian restaurant….;-)
Gianluca takes the time to explain everything. You learn a lot about the products, the way to cook them and to serve them. Together with exquisite wines and sunny weather, it was an unforgettable week for us!
