We enjoyed every aspect of the event. Watching the dog and the truffle hunter work together was fascinating. The meal and camaraderie following the hunt was outstanding. Great experience despite the fact that Italy’s drought has cut the truffle crop significantly.

We absolutely loved Elisa and Teo who managed Citta Di Castello, we were planning on arriving the morning of the truffle demonstration however after talking to Elisa on the telephone she invited us to stay (as we were camping) the night before and have dinner with herself, Teo and the other guests that were joining us on our Truffle experience. Dinner was magnificent, our truffle demonstration was extremely interesting, we have both come away learning more than expected, and ended up staying for three nights enjoying dinners with other families staying at Car Solare, relaxing and enjoying a place that felt exactly like home. Teo and Elisa opened up their passion in life, their home and their wonderful area to us and we fell in love.
