We had a fantastic time! It was a great experience to share with my mother. I am so glad we were able to be hands on and cook it ourselves! Chef Vincenzino was so great to work with. He was friendly and a good teacher! He took lots of pictures so we could capture the fun little moments we shared. The food was amazing. I was never a seafood lover and I cannot say that anymore. I ended up eating mussels, clams, and white fish – it was delish! Thank you for the lifelong memories!

Chef Vincenzino was a fabulous host, instructor, and we now consider him a close friend. The hands on experience was exactly what we wanted. My wife and I were his only students the day of our class. Our trip with him to the fish market informed and entertained. Vincenzino is clearly loved in Ravello, and we now know why. He is a font of knowledge, not simply about the cuisine of Campania, but also on the history and people of the area. We loved our entire ten days in Italy, but our day with Vincenzino is the source of the stories we tell and retell most often to our friends about our trip. He also turned us on to other special activities we would have missed, but for his recommendation.

My daughter had some culinary classes in Florence during her Study Abroad Program and is interested in a culinary career. Chef Vincenzino was very quick to customize our lesson to her needs of needing to prepare several seafood dishes at the same time, stressing timing and organization skills. We learned right from the market how to choose the seafood, clean and prepare it. He taught us the simplicity of Mediterranean style cooking. Explainations were given for everything, lots of great background and knowledge. We were very happy with the lesson. The chef is a wonderful, down to earth, easy to relate to person, making it a very easy learning setting. It really exceeded our expectations and was an excellent value for the money. We were fortunate to have a beautiful day and enjoyed our lovely lunch on the patio over looking an amazing view. An absolutely superb morning!

We very much enjoyed our experience with Chef Vincenzino in Ravello. It was one of the highlights of our trip! We had a wonderful morning with him at the market and then preparing a delicious meal of all fresh ingredients from his garden as well as the shops. He was very personable and attentive to our questions and comments. My daughter is a chef and she also enjoyed learning his ways of preparing the dishes which, of course, differ somewhat from her training and experience. We would encourage anyone considering cooking classes on the Amalfi Coast to sign up with Chef V. for a memorable day that will bring happy memories as well as new cooking and taste adventures!

The cooking class with Chef Vincenzino was absolutly hands down the best part of our honeymoon trip in Italy. He was amazing! We met Vincenzino and proceeded to the fish market, purchased some sardines, muscles and bass. He provided us with tips on buying fish, gave us info on the town, and we walked to his home to cook. My wife Olga and I had a wonderful time cooking, drinking wine, and enjoying each course on the balcony overlooking the Gulf of Salerno. Breathtaking. What I really enjoyed is that Vincenzino talked with us, showed us what he was doing, and then let us do the cooking with him. It was very hands on. Simple and delicous. He preached about using the simply natural fresh flavors. After the class and meal, he gave us info on where to buy pottery, what restaurants to go to, and gave us a book on Ravello. It was worth every penny and more. We will be back for another day in his kitchen!!
Everyone [at The International Kitchen] was exceptional, steered us right, and made the whole wedding/honeymoon just fantastic. Karen was very open and honest, and gave me some good things to thik about.

Vincenzino was such a delight to spend the day with. We feel that we really learned a lot about the whole “mealtime experience.” The conversation throughout the day was enjoyable and truly taught us about Ravello, cooking Italian food in general, and how to adapt recipes at home. It was fabulous having the meal served to us on the terrace, enjoying a bottle of wine and savouring the food we helped prepare. I loved the fact that Vincenzino wanted to ensure that we knew how to prepare the meals at home without his supervision. We wrote down the recipes, filmed some of the class and have since cooked 3 of the recipes at home in Canada. After the class, we walked back to Minori using Vincenzino’s recommendations… A fabulous day and something I would highly suggest! We would book another class with Vincenzino. It was a highlight of a wonderful trip to Italy!

It was great to have the one-on-one attention and learn the tricks of the trade for some simple southern Italian recipes. Vincenzino’s passion for food and cooking is felt throughout the session and he is a very warm person. It is a little pricey but worth every penny. The setting of his apartment is wonderful as well.
