About the location: The four star luxury Relais Blu Belvedere is
situated in a spectacular location amidst a luxurious Mediterranean
garden, century old olive trees, maritime pines, agave plants,
astonishing rock garden, and fully surrounded by the crystal clear blue
sea.
Everywhere you look you will find unbelievably beautiful scenery,
including views of the islands of Capri and Ischia. Each of the spacious guest
bedrooms have a sea view and are stylishly decorated in a distinctive
Mediterranean style, artfully combining contemporary and classic
furniture. All rooms feature independently controlled air-conditioning, a PC with
high speed connection, Jacuzzi tub, safe, minibar and satellite TV.
This is a large property, with many levels where you can swim in
the pool, relax for a heated hydromassage or just take in the incredibile
beauty of the location.
About the lessons: Your guide through your
experience in Campania cooking will be the head chef of the Ristorante
Relais Blu, Bob Christoph. An outstanding chef and fluent in English, Chef Christoph has studied under
Alain Ducasse and Heinze Beck, and he will pass on his recipes for creating
Mediterranean specialities using the latest techniques. You will also have the opportunity to
visit the restaurant's exceptional wine cellar, managed by Nicoletta Gargiulo,
winner of the 2008 Best Italian Sommelier Award.

Day One
- Transfer at a pre-arranged time from Naples airport or train station to
the Relais Blu in Massa Lubrense. Settle in to your sea-view
room.
- Enjoy a welcome drink at sunset
on the Relais's marvelous terrace.
- Dinner tonight is at the
restaurant of the Relais, where you will enjoy one of the
most amazing views of the entire Sorrento coast. Local wine
included.
- Overnight.

Day Two
- Breakfast.
- Meet the chef for your first hands-on
cooking class, followed by lunch based on your efforts.
- In the afternoon enjoy an
excursion to the Amalfi Coast and its quaint little towns
along the Mediterranean sea. Explore the famous towns of
Amalfi and Ravello on your own: we suggest you visit the enchanting
Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone.
- Dinner tonight on your
own in Ravello before returning to the hotel.
- Overnight.

Day Three
- Breakfast.
- In the morning, meet the chef for
your second cooking lesson focusing on typical main courses
of the area.
- Lunch to follow, with local wine included.
- In
the afternoon visit a local artisanal cheese producer where
the original mozzarella is made. Enjoy a fresh taste of the
world-renowned cheese directly with the owners!

Before returning to
the Relais, stop at a limoncello factory to taste this
lemony liqueur.
- Return to the Relais. Dinner tonight on your own.
- Overnight.

Day Four
- Breakfast.
- In the morning, embark (weather
permitting) for the harbor for a private boat excursion to the island of
Capri. Day at your disposal to discover this picturesque island, with lunch on your own.
You might shop along the steep alleys, lose yourself among the
spontaneous and wild nature of its ancient villas and
gardens, people-watch in the towns of Capri and Anacapri,
or explore the nearby Blu Grotto. You will be amazed by the perfect harmony of
tropical and Mediterranean plants and flowers.
- Return to the
Relais in the late afternoon.
- Dinner tonight at the Relais,
local wine included.
- Overnight.

Day Five
- Breakfast.
- In the morning, meet the chef for your third
cooking lesson, focusing on typical fish courses of the
area.
- Lunch to follow, with local wine included.
- In the
afternoon transfer to Pompeii, where you will meet your official
English-speaking guide at the entrance of the archeological
area and visit some of the highlights. In 79 AD Mt. Vesuvius
erupted volcanic ashes and lapilli over the village of
Pompeii: the entire town and around 20,000 of its
inhabitants were buried under tons of ash and pumice. Almost two thousand
years later, you have the chance to visit these
well-preserved ruins, including the most representative
monuments around the Forum, such as Macellum, the Temple of
Apollo, the Forum Baths, and the House the Faun.
- Return to the
Relais for dinner, local wine included.
- Overnight at the
Relais.

Day Six
- Breakfast.
- In the morning, meet the chef for your final
cooking lesson focusing on typical desserts of the area as well as
appetizers.
- Lunch to follow, with local wine included.

Afternoon at your disposal for leisure activities. You may want
to sunbathe at the local beach or travel to the nearby
seaside town of Sorrento.
- Farewell dinner at the Relais,
with local wine included.
- Overnight.

- Breakfast.
- Depart around 10 AM for Naples airport or train
station.
