Taste of Catalonia We had a terrific time. Yvan and Yuki were fabulous. They were punctual, accommodating, and very flexible. We thoroughly enjoyed the classes. We learned quite a few new and interesting tricks to cooking. The days flew by. We loved visitng the bakery/chocolate store. The cheese maker was very good too. Some of the interesting sights in Besalu and the Market in Barcelona. We were incredibly full by the end of the week. The only complaint we had was the hotel we stayed at was a beautiful setting and the hosts couldn't have been more gracious, however the beds were antique not very easy to sleep in...
Thank you for putting this wonderful trip together.

Yvan & Yuki were terrific. They were considerate, accommodating, interesting and wonderful people. We became friends. The cooking classes and all the personnel involved were great -- we didn't expect to have so much fun. The sightseeing also was very, very good -- especially Barcelona, Girona, Besalu, Iberian ruins, chocolate visit. What would we change? Give us a break in the afternoon each day. We left hotel at 8:30 or 9 am, and didn't return until 11:30 or midnight. Consider adding another day to the itinerary. Hotel in Madremanya was very attractive and the owners were charming, but our bed was small and not very comfortable.

Yvan and Yuki did a fabulous job of planning the vacation and then making sure that every event was perfect. They were also so flexible. When they realized that we might like to go to see how cheese or candy was made rather than go to a ceramics factory, the plan was changed instantly (which I am sure was not an instantaneous change, but it did seem to be to us). What was special? Look at our itinerary, everything ties for first place. However, if I had to pick, it would be the cooking school. The Chef and his assistants were a delight and the meals fabulous. It was a wonderful way to share time with friends and very relaxing.
