Ravello - Lesson with Chef Vincenzino

Vincenzino was such a delight to spend the day with. We feel that we really learned a lot about the whole "mealtime experience." The conversation throughout the day was enjoyable and truly taught us about Ravello, cooking Italian food in general, and how to adapt recipes at home. It was fabulous having the meal served to us on the terrace, enjoying a bottle of wine and savouring the food we helped prepare. I loved the fact that Vincenzino wanted to ensure that we knew how to prepare the meals at home without his supervision. We wrote down the recipes, filmed some of the class and have since cooked 3 of the recipes at home in Canada. After the class, we walked back to Minori using Vincenzino's recommendations... A fabulous day and something I would highly suggest! We would book another class with Vincenzino. It was a highlight of a wonderful trip to Italy!

It was great to have the one-on-one attention and learn the tricks of the trade for some simple southern Italian recipes. Vincenzino's passion for food and cooking is felt throughout the session and he is a very warm person. It is a little pricey but worth every penny. The setting of his apartment is wonderful as well.
