Cooking with Giulietta [Note: clients did Cooking and Walking itinerary.] We liked it a lot. We had a lot of fun and learned a lot. We could influence the menus and everyone was involved. The guide for our walking tours was great too. However the walking tours could have been a little more demanding, so we added distance. But the program as a whole was great and our stay in the beatiful house charming. Lennart W., Sweden |
My husband and I booked a weekend in October 2006 of Cooking with Giulietta in
Panzano-in-Chianti and we had a wonderful time. The grounds are beautiful,
the driver from Florence and our weekend guide were wonderful! I learned so
much more from Giulietta than I thought I would and met some very nice
people who we cooked for. I can't wait to visit again! On my next trip to
Italy, I will be sure to again book classes through The International
Kitchen.
Sincerely,

We loved our cooking class and the accommodations. Initially, we were a bit dissapointed as we were told we would receive a welcome and cocktail when we arrived but other than giving us a key to our room we were provided nothing. However, by the evening and our class Giulietta seemed to warm up and the next few days were wonderful. We learned a ton, met some wonderful people and had an incredible experience. In addition, our walking tour with Elizabeth was amazing! She was incredibly personable, very knowledgable of the area and the perfect guide. Karen B., CA |
Giulietta's restored farmhouse was absolutely beautiful!
She and Stefania were warm and friendly and the cooking classes were relaxed . We learned a lot about the area and tasted and purchased some great Chianti and Super Tuscans! Our guide Elizabeth was absolutely wonderful! She knew so much about the area and the art and history. We want to go back!

Very much enjoyed the cooking lessons, especially the very nice small group and Gulietta and her assistant who are charming. The location is lovely.

We really enjoyed the program. Giulietta is a very gracious host and very generous with the wine, grappa and vino santo! The cooking classes were excellent. Very hands on and we learned a lot. We plan to use some of the recipes at home and even brought back chestnut flour from Italy to make castegnaccio because we were worried we would not be able to find it at home. The location in Panzano was beautiful. The walking portion was also great. Elizabeth Namack was an excellent guide. She is an American now married to an Italian and living permanently in Italy so she was able to provide an interesting perspective. Also as an art history professional who has studied restoration she was very informative. We enjoyed Italy so much we are considering a trip to Southern Italy next year and will certainly considering making one of your trips in the Amalfi part of that trip if we do decide to go ahead and visit Southern Italy.
