Cooking With Giuliano Hazan I have just returned from a week at Villa Giona and the school with Guilano Hazan. How did I like it? I told him they could raise the prices and it would still be a bargain! It was one of the most memorable events of my life. It was so much more that just a cooking school. It was a wine, food and cultural experience of a lifetime. I am a caterer, so my knowledge of food and wine is perhaps greater than the average cooking enthusiast. I was not disappointed in the level of expertise and knowledge of everyone involved. Marilisa Allegrini and Guiliano Hazan were wonderful teachers. This was also the first time I had gone on a trip such as this by myself. It was such a wonderful experience that I plan to do it again. The group that attended the school bonded into a wonderful family for the week. Guiliano mentioned that he would like to have an "alumni" course and I would definitely attend that course. I am planning on traveling to France next year and plan on another wonderful culinary adventure.

The field trips were all memorable. ...even the 'locals' don't have the opportunity to visit the types of places we visited. Very, very special.

I find myself at 6 a.m. deboning chicken and making fillets, peeling peppers, and making cutlets at 11:00 in the evening. Again, this is not the me I have known all these years. Thank you for my new epicurean interests.

Our room, view, and breakfast were wonderful... Marilisa charmingly taught us so much about wine... Every day was special, exciting, and delicious... The day trips were so educational. Lunches were delicious - we couldn't pick our favorite lunch because they were all so good... We learned so much in class. You gave us so much information... We wouldn't have changed a thing. You thought of everything, right down to the most minute detail.
